A Nigeria military aircraft King Air 350 has just crashed short of our Abuja runway after reporting engine failure enroute Minna.
Information available at press time shows there are no survivors.
The aircraft departed Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja at 10:33 am with six persons on board, including 2 crew members.
Confirming the incident, minister of aviation Hadi Sirika tweeted on Sunday that the aircraft reported engine failure en route Minna, Niger State capital.
“A military aircraft King Air 350 has just crashed short of our Abuja runway after reporting engine failure enroute Minna. It appears to be fatal. We should remain calm & wait for the outcome of investigation by the military, while we pray for the departed soul/souls if any.?????,” Mr Sirika said.
