The Nigerian Army, has on Saturday, presented the same videos they had initially tagged as fake news, and referred to as doctored, after the ordered shooting of peaceful protesters at Lekki toll gate in Lagos, on Tuesday night, October 20,
The Army Representative, Brigadier-General Ahmed Ibrahim Taiwo, presented the videos as evidence, at the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry and Restitution for Victims of SARS related abuses and other matters.
The Military used the videos to prove their case, stating that, due to the clips seen on the videos, they never shot live bullets at the peaceful EndSARS protesters on the said night, at Lekki toll gate.
They however, failed to state how the victims who the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, visited on live TV on hospital beds, sustained the injuries that led them to the hospital, and how those later announced dead by the Governor, died.
