President Muhammadu Buhari, is yet to speak on the abduction of over 30 female Students and 3 Teachers of the Federal Government College, Kebbi State, 24-hours after the sad event occurred,
Page 36 recalls, that President Buhari was in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, on Thursday, commissioning projects executed by the Governor of the State, Babagana Zulum, as well as the Federal Government, when the bandits struck in Kebbi State.
At the time of filing in this report on Friday morning, President Buhari was yet to issue a statement to that effect, or comment on the kidnap.
A source who spoke to Page 36 said that “maybe President Buhari is yet to recover from the shock, hence his silence”.
The attackers who rode on motorcycles, were said to have stormed the School from the neighbouring Rijau forest.
They were said to have overpowered the Mobile Policemen guarding the School, and at least 30 Students and 3 Teachers were abducted, according to Security sources.
